INDIA :NOT SHINING

i remember learning my tables oh god it was one hell of a torture! but no i had to do it no matter what!!one of the reasons i learnt it fast was that i din want to hear my mother scream into my ear.Well yes it helps me today of course,all the math of course was not possible had i not learnt them!Remember exam time? you gobble up say for 7 hours a day and you vomit for 3 hrs the next day and the cycle does not stop.The result:your friend who used to play everyday,did nonsense that u would'nt think of during exams got an A+!! AND U GOT a B!!! you cannot stop pulling your hair,you ask why me lord why?? well lord cannot answer that he is busy solving other cases not,think what did he do that you did not? he ABSORBED! you GOBBLED!Understanding what you learn is very important or else you will end up like chatur from 3 idiots!
For this situation in our country our education system plays a vital role! delhi university had a cut off of 100%!! so this one child gets a 100% does that mean that the others are not fit to get an admission in a good university?? its really sad isnt it?
The other day i was teaching my brother some math and i saw a strike on a page,on it was written "please omit".i asked him,"why did you do that?" he said teacher said it is not there in the portion.i was pretty shocked,the thing that was cancelled was the most basic thing in math!!with this thing how are we supposed to become "india shining"?
Back during my school days in history i read about nalanda university which was supposed to be a very prestigious university in india.people from the world used to come to this university to study!! and now?? our first run is towards USA,Uk! why?? what is it about them? they have whole new approach towards teaching..they take real life cases, examples,researches into consideration which gives the student the liberty to think on his own! not follow a random book.
Education in india has become very competitive,the IIM does not consider a person getting a 99 percentile!!IITs have no place for a 99% WHAT HAVE WE COME TO?? where are we heading? to a brighter india or an india that is killing its own young talent !!! in fact BRUTALLY murdering it!
